Star Hotel

In the center of the G-10 Markaz this is a 7 story building with two story existing concrete structure. Extensive   structural   forensic   analysis   was performed to evaluate the structural capacity of the existing building for further 5 story extension. When the existing structure was found inadequate for the further construction STEEL structure was suggested for the construction of this structure as steel structures are lighter in weight and exhibit more optimized behavior against seismic forces. This  was  first  ever  of  its  type  of  building  in Islamabad. Extensive Finite element modeling was done before the structure couId be finalized. The building had a total covered area of 82,000 sft.
